Does the corporate ladder
have an endpoint?
I remember the moment I realized that though I was doing a lot of "climbing," I was
never expected to truly rise. That's because the purpose of the corporate ladder is to
keep you on it. There is no end point. There is, however, a way off— and, it's not
about quitting your job, (though that can come later.)
In my experience, Corporate Ladder Liberation happens when you cease to make
your job the guiding force of your life, and return that power to the one person who
can truly steer your ship: YOU.
The process starts in the mind by way of a not-so-scientific method I call
"incremental brainwashing." (That's how you got into this mess in the first
place, after all.)
It works like this: bite by bite, you've got to feed yourself information that reinforces
the fact that, despite all appearances, you're the one in charge here.
Once you start to believe it, you'll be on the path to the life you're actually supposed
to be living, instead of a mysterious ladder to well, nowhere.

Add your email below, and I'll start sending you emails that outline the practical
wisdom I've used to keep myself empowered & thriving as a (free)lancer for
the past 8 years. No matter where you're starting from, an empowered, aligned life
is available to you—but, first you've got to realize that no matter who you're
working for...you're the boss.
